Passover Play !

We're getting in the Passover spirit by adding triangular "pyramid" shaped blocks to the manipulative area.

The kids wanted to incorporate them into the sensory table, too.
For our Thursday Seder we wanted to have a cool centerpiece which all 4 preK classes could make together. Charlie, Jack and Lukas are making slaves for our centerpiece.
Anna is making sure her slave is well dressed!
Sammie is adding some material to her slave.
James David is checking to see if his slave is happy enough!  We gave the children a choice of expressions...sad that they're on the run, scared of Pharoah's soldiers or happy to be on the way to freedom.
The children are involved in painting the parting of the sea.  Make sure to come to the Seder at 1:30 Thursday and see the completed centerpieces.
