Purim Extravaganza 2012 !

Dressed in their costumes, the Curious George class was ready to celebrate Purim!
We began our celebration of Purim  as we danced  with our friends at  Shabbat.
After celebrating Shabbat with everyone, we joined the other pre-k classes in Shushan's Art Factory.
We decorated masks and crowns and then we made cards for Shalach Manot boxes.
After visiting Shushan's Art Factory, we ate hamantaschen in Queen Esther's Bakery.  What a delicious treat!
Our tummies were full, but we were ready to see the puppet show. The puppets were animals dressed as Purim characters. The children laughed with delight as they watched a very funny version of the Purim story!
The last place we visited for the Purim Extravaganza, was Vashti's Beauty Parlor. The children were so excited to have Shelly and Heidi style their hair with pink, orange and blue hair spray.  Max wanted all three colors !
Sammie and Anna smiled as they saw their colorful reflections.
Charlie  thought that Robin looked very cool with pink hair!
Jonah, Jack, Sophia, and Laura were very intrigued by the tatoo artists.
Max and Matthew are happy with their tatoos! As we left Vashti's Beauty Parlor, the children exclaimed,"This was the best day"! Thanks to Shelly and the volunteer parents who helped to make the Purim Extravaganza such a wonderful experience for the children.
